As previously announced at Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference, the hit MMORPG PC game Black Desert will be making its way to Xbox One in early 2018. Although some fans may have experienced the console version already at Gamescom or PAX West, in order to reach players from other parts of the world, Pearl Abyss will be making an appearance at PAX AUS 2017, which will be held in Melbourne from October 27th to 29th. This is to allow all of the Australian Black Desert fans to get acquainted with the game firsthand. PAX attendees can experience gameplay with four of the game’s many classes including Warrior, Ranger, Witch and Striker on the Xbox One X demo version in native 4K resolution.
“We’re extremely excited to be able to let our Australian fans also have an opportunity to try out the console version.” said Pearl Abyss COO James Heo. “We can’t wait to deliver the beauty of Black Desert in true 4K resolution and bring about a whole new console-gaming experience.”
Since its launch in Korea in December 2014, Black Desert has successfully launched worldwide. Up to date, it has accumulated 7.65 million users.
Black Desert for the Xbox One family of devices is scheduled for launch early 2018. Supported devices are: Xbox One X, Xbox One S, and Xbox One.
