Gears Pro Circuit Season 2 March Update

Point Reduction: 50%

There will be a 50% Point Decay following the upcoming Gears Pro Circuit Las Vegas Open that will affect all players across all regions. The purpose of this Point Decay is to encourage competition, and offer relatively newer and up-and-coming teams a chance to qualify for Pool Play and/or Travel Coverage. No team will have their current ranking changed, nor will this decision overly effect the top 4 NA, top 2 EU or top 2 LATAM teams.

Teams should be advised that there may be another Point Decay in the circuit this season. Any questions regarding the Point Decay can be sent to leagueops@mlg.tv.

In addition to the travel coverage spots awarded to the top 3 teams by Gears Pro Points at the official Travel Coverage & Pool Play Roster Lock date (March 19th, 2018), we are excited to announce a Last Chance Qualifier for the European region, with the winning team walking away with travel coverage (flights + hotel) to the upcoming Gears Pro Circuit Las Vegas Open! This online tournament will be open to all eligible players in the European region who have not already qualified to receive Travel Coverage for the event. The format and rules of this event will follow that of a weekly 2K tournament.
