SMITE: Battleground of the Gods, North America West Coast servers online

Hi-Rez Studios has brought SMITE servers to the West Coast of North America with its latest update on March 23. This follows the game’s most successful year in terms of number of players, and answers the popular demand for western US servers.

Those new servers better accommodate the wave of new players by ensuring low in-game latency for SMITE’s action-packed, third-person MOBA gameplay. This is another step in Hi-Rez’ commitment: shaping SMITE’s constant growth according to what the community needs and desires.

Based in San Jose, the NA West SMITE servers are now open to everyone but especially beneficial to players west of Dallas in North America and in Western Mexico and Canada. Indirectly, this is also expected to improve game stability on the rest of the continent.
