2020 CHEL Showdown, eSports tournament hosted by Calgary Flames

The Calgary Flames to host the second annual 2020 CHEL Showdown presented by Scotiabank.

This year’s new and improved format has taken the tournament to a whole new level. Taking place over a two weekend span (February 1 – 2 and February 8 – 9, 2020) CHEL players ages 14 and up, will have a chance to face-off and compete in an online tournament, powered by WorldGaming Network.

The top two players from each of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms will earn the chance to compete in the Grand Finals hosted at the Scotiabank Saddledome on February 22, 2020. Each qualifier will receive a weekend full of excitement, beginning with the ultimate Calgary Flames experience in a premium suite for a game against the Boston Bruins, valued at over $10,000. Gamers will then have the opportunity to compete for over $4,500 in prizing, and the chance to be crowned the NHL 20 CHEL Showdown Champion.
