SMITE Pro League 2019: Season 6 Format & Details

In Season 6, there are some major changes coming to the SPL format. We are moving away from online play, meaning that all SPL matches will be played live on LAN at the Skillshot Media studio in Atlanta, GA! This is a big change for the league, and with it will come a few other adjustments to the format:

  • 10 teams with NO region restriction — meaning players from anywhere in the world can compete on any SPL team if they are picked up by a partner organization.

WINNERS League, X6tence Galaxy triumphs in CS:GO contest

Dedicated esports company WIN has successfully concluded the debut season of WINNERS League. 720 teams participated in the Counter Strike: Global Offensive competition on the FACEIT platform. These teams were split between an open Starter Division and an elite Invite Division featuring some of the best Counter-Strike talent in Europe.

In the Invite Division, Sweden’s X6tence Galaxy took home a first-place prize of $7,000 USD, with Bpro Gaming taking second place after a hotly contested final.… Read the rest

Overwatch Contenders, New Chat Moderation Program Test

Contenders is trialing a new chat moderation program that requires users who wish to participate in Twitch chat to link their Blizzard Battle.net and Twitch accounts.

The program will be trialed during 2018 Season 3 quarterfinals matches across all regions, from Dec. 28, 2018, through Jan. 12, 2019. The Path to Pro team then will evaluate the program’s overall effect on creating a more positive viewing experience.… Read the rest

Codemasters  revealed a new video feature for F1 Mobile Racing, its latest free-to-play mobile title, in which the Sauber F1 Team 2018 driver line-up of Charles Leclerc and Marcus Ericsson put the game through its paces.

Heavy Metal Machines to host three eSports Championships
