Inaugural season Overwatch League champions, London Spitfire, announced the venues for the team’s highly anticipated homestand matches for the upcoming 2020 season. The Overwatch team will play hosts at two iconic UK venues, SSE Arena, Wembley and a to-be-announced Birmingham location for two weekends of fast-paced action.

The two teams vying for the 2019 Overwatch League championship next weekend in Philadelphia have the following players on their rosters: the season’s Most Valuable Player, three other MVP candidates, Rookie of the Year, six Role Stars, five Role Stars honorable mentions, and seven Pacific Division All-Stars.
The Overwatch League’s 2019 playoffs are complete. The Vancouver Titans and San Francisco Shock advanced and will play in the Grand Finals in Philadelphia on Sept. 29.
The top-seeded Titans sliced through the upper bracket, defeating the Seoul Dynasty and Los Angeles Gladiators last week before defeating the Atlantic Division champion New York Excelsior on Friday to clinch their finals berth.… Read the rest

This weekend, the Los Angeles Valiant are rolling out the welcome mat at The Novo at LA Live, where they’ll host eight matches over two days to wrap up the final stage of the 2019 Overwatch League regular season.

(MOST) ROADS LEAD TO PHILLY
There are several paths a team can take to get to the 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals. For starters, the regular-season Atlantic and Pacific division champions will automatically qualify into an eight-team double-elimination bracket. The next-best four teams by record, regardless of division, will also qualify.
London Spitfire is pleased to share the first details of the 2020 Overwatch League season and that the team will be bringing electrifying Overwatch League matches home to London as part of the new home and away format. These homestand series will look and operate in a similar capacity to the Dallas and Atlanta homestands that took place earlier this season and the upcoming LA Valiant event in August.… Read the rest
